Quick Start
From signing up to watching a real response arrive — five steps.
Step 1 · Sign up
Open the Pocper app and sign in with Google. There is no password to set, no email verification step, and no credit card required for the Free plan.
On first sign-in, a short welcome screen asks for your display name and preferred interface language. Once you submit, you land on your empty admin portal.

Step 2 · Pick a template
Open the Templates section from the sidebar. You can either start blank or browse the Template Market — a built-in catalog of ready-made templates organized by industry. The market is the fastest way to see what the document looks like.
For your first run, pick any template that looks close to what you need. You can edit it freely afterwards to fit your own document.

Step 3 · Adjust the fields
You are now in the editor. The document looks like a normal page of prose, with input fields embedded inline.
To rewrite a section, just click and type — the editor behaves like any document tool. Changes save automatically; there is no save button.

Step 4 · Create a share link
In the top toolbar, click Share. You can leave the defaults or tighten the share:
- Require name — the recipient enters their name before the form opens.
- Require email — the recipient enters their email; helpful for following up.
- Expires at — the link stops working after a chosen date.
Copy the generated link. Send it the way you normally reach this person — email, chat, a printed QR code, whatever fits.

Step 5 · Watch responses arrive
When your client submits the form, their answers land in your admin portal — and as they fill it in, you can already see the characters appearing live on your side. They do not need a Pocper account.
When the recipient submits, the Paper moves into the Submitted state and gets filed automatically under the right Person and Folder. You can find it from the client list in the sidebar, grouped by Template Folder.
That is the whole flow: build once, share many times, watch responses come in, and have everything filed without ever organizing a folder yourself.

Where to go next
When you are ready to dig deeper, the rest of the documentation covers sharing controls in detail, building Templates into Template Folders, and inviting teammates. Or just keep using the app and come back when you hit something specific.
