Keyboard shortcuts
The Pocper editor is built for keyboard-first editing. Most actions have a key combination so you never need to leave the text. ⌘ is the Mac Command key; on Windows and Linux, use Ctrl in its place.
1 · Edit text
EnterSplit the current block. On the title or a structural block, drops you into a fresh paragraph below.
Shift + EnterInsert a line break without leaving the current block. Only meaningful inside a Long Input — everywhere else, Enter already does what you want.
BackspaceDelete the character before the cursor. On an empty block, merge with the block above or just remove the empty block.
DeleteDelete the character after the cursor.
2 · Block structure
TabIndent the current block one level. Useful inside bullet and numbered lists for nested items.
Shift + TabOutdent the current block one level.
Shift + ⌘ + ↑Move the current block up. The document reflows around it.
Shift + ⌘ + ↓Move the current block down.
3 · Navigation
↑ ↓ ← →Move the cursor by one character or one line. When the cursor reaches the edge of a block, the next arrow press jumps to the adjacent block — including the title or structural blocks like images.
4 · Open menus
Type "/" on a blank line to open the slash menu — the same menu listed under Block types. Pick an entry with the arrow keys and confirm with Enter, or click directly.
Select any range of text and the text menu floats up automatically. From there, apply Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Text color, Background color, or Link without a keystroke. The full list of marks lives in Text formatting.
