House Guide & Guest Information
Welcome. This is our in-house directory — everything you might want to know about the property, our services and the neighbourhood. There is nothing to fill in or send back; keep it open on your phone during your stay. If you cannot find an answer here, reception is happy to help at any hour.
- Check-in from 15:00. Reception is staffed 07:00 – 22:00; after that, ring the night bell or use the access code we send you.
- Check-out by 11:00. Late check-out until 14:00 is often possible for a half-day charge — ask the evening before.
- Early arrivals are welcome to leave luggage with us free of charge and use the lounge and washrooms while the room is prepared.
- On departure, please leave the key at reception or in the drop box beside the front door.
Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor. Special diets are catered for when we know in advance — please tell reception the night before.

- The television accepts screen-casting from phones and laptops; the input button is on the underside of the remote.
- Air conditioning and heating are controlled from the wall panel by the door. It pauses automatically when a window is open.
- Travel adaptors, phone chargers, irons and hair dryers can be borrowed from reception at no charge.
- Rooms are serviced daily between 09:00 and 14:00. Hang the door card outside if you would rather not be disturbed.
- Bed linen is changed every third night and on request; towels are changed whenever they are left in the bath.

- Laundry and pressing: items left in the bag by 09:00 are returned the same evening, Monday to Saturday. Dry cleaning takes two working days.

Parking & Local Tourist Tax
- On-site spaces are limited and allocated on arrival. Tell reception your licence plate so the space is registered to you and not ticketed.
- Street parking outside the property is metered on weekdays and free after 19:00 and on Sundays. The public garage two streets away offers a discounted guest rate.
- An electric-vehicle charging point is available at the rear of the car park; ask reception to release it.
- The local tourist tax is set by the municipality, charged per adult per night, and is never included in an online booking price. It is collected at check-in or added to your final bill, and it appears as a separate line on your invoice.
- Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 07:00. Please keep voices, music and television low in corridors, on balconies and in the garden.
- The entire building is non-smoking, vaping included. Smoking is permitted only in the marked outdoor area; a cleaning charge applies where the policy is broken.
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome in designated rooms with prior approval and a nightly cleaning supplement. Pets may not be left alone in a room, and are not permitted in the dining room. Registered assistance animals are welcome everywhere at no charge.
- Visitors who are not registered guests may use the public areas until 22:00 and may not stay overnight.
- Parties and events in guest rooms are not permitted. The bar, terrace and function room can be booked instead.
Payment & Cancellation Summary
- A card is pre-authorised at check-in to cover extras; the hold is released within a few working days of departure.
- Flexible rates may be cancelled free of charge until 18:00 on the day before arrival. After that, one night is charged.
- Non-refundable and advance-purchase rates are charged in full at booking and cannot be changed or refunded.
- A no-show is charged as the first night, and the remaining nights are released.
- Early departure is charged for the nights originally reserved unless the room can be resold. The exact terms of your own booking are shown in your confirmation email and take precedence over this summary.
- Take a moment now to find the fire-escape plan on the back of your room door and locate the two nearest staircases.
- If you discover a fire, raise the alarm at the nearest call point and telephone reception.
- On hearing the alarm, leave the room straight away, close the door behind you and go to the assembly point in front of the building. Do not use the lift and do not return for belongings.
- For a medical emergency, dial the national emergency number, then call reception so we can direct the ambulance and open the doors.
- A first-aid kit and defibrillator are kept behind the reception desk, and staff on every shift are trained to use them.
Places we send our own friends to. Reception is glad to book a table, and none of these recommendations is paid for.
- Dinner nearby — a family-run trattoria two minutes on foot, a modern bistro with a set evening menu, and a late kitchen that serves until midnight at weekends.
- Coffee and breakfast out — the roastery on the corner opens at 07:00; the bakery by the church sells out of its best pastries by 09:30.
- Getting around — the tram stop is 200 metres to the left, day tickets are sold at reception, and the taxi rank sits outside the station. Bicycles can be hired from us by the half day.
- A good walk — the riverside path starts at the end of our street and reaches the old bridge and viewpoint in about forty minutes each way, mostly flat.
- Rainy-day options — the town museum, the covered market, and the thermal baths a short tram ride away.
- Practical stops — pharmacy on the square (late rota posted on its door), supermarket open until 21:00, cash machine inside the bank opposite the tram stop.
Times, prices and policies are correct at the time of publication and may change seasonally; reception will always confirm the current position. If anything about your stay is not right, please tell us while you are here — we would far rather fix it than read about it later.
