Wedding Planning Service Guide
This guide explains how we plan weddings — the packages we offer, what each one includes, the timeline we work to, how we coordinate your vendors, and the questions couples most often ask. It is a reference document; there is nothing to fill in or return. The details specific to your wedding are set out in your planning agreement.
We offer three levels of support. The right one depends on how much you have already planned and how hands-on you would like us to be.
| | |
|---|
| Couples who want end-to-end support and a single point of contact | |
| Couples who have made a start and want help completing the plan | |
| Couples who planned it themselves and want it run smoothly | |

Section 3 — The Planning Timeline
A typical full-service timeline. Shorter engagements compress the same steps into a tighter schedule.
| |
|---|
| Vision, budget, guest-list estimate, and venue booking |
| Book key vendors — catering, photography, music, flowers |
| Attire, invitations, menu tasting, and design detail |
| Invitations out, seating plan, and final vendor confirmations |
| Confirm numbers, build the day-of timeline, brief all vendors, rehearse |
| On-site coordination from setup to send-off |
Section 4 — How We Coordinate Vendors
- We recommend vendors matched to your style, budget, and guest count, and set up introductions.
- You sign your own contracts directly with each vendor; we review terms and flag anything to watch.
- We keep every contract, payment date, and contact in one shared record so nothing is missed.
- In the final weeks we confirm arrival times, deliverables, and setup details with each vendor.
- On the day, vendors report to us, not to you, so you are free to enjoy the celebration.
Section 5 — Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book you? For full-service planning, nine to eighteen months is ideal, but we take on shorter timelines and day-of coordination too.
Do you take a commission from vendors? No. We recommend vendors on merit and fit. Our fee comes only from you, so our advice stays independent.
Can we use vendors we already love? Absolutely. We coordinate with your chosen vendors alongside any we introduce.
What happens if it rains or a vendor cancels? We build a contingency plan for weather and hold backup options for key vendors, and we handle the changeover on the day.
Will you be there on the wedding day? Yes. Your planner, with an on-site team for larger weddings, runs the whole day from setup to send-off.
This guide is general information about our services and is not a contract. The terms specific to your wedding are set out in your signed planning agreement. Ask us anything — we are happy to help.
