Clinic Services, Fees & Policies Guide
This guide explains the services we offer, roughly what they cost, when we are open, and how appointments, cancellations, and payment work. It is a reference document — there is nothing to fill in or return. Fees below are indicative ranges; the exact cost of your pet’s care is confirmed in a written estimate before treatment.
Section 1 — Services We Offer
Preventive & wellness care
- Annual and semi-annual wellness examinations and health checks
- Core and lifestyle vaccinations for dogs, cats, and small pets
- Parasite prevention — flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal worms
- Microchipping and registration
- Nutrition, weight, and behaviour counselling
- In-house blood chemistry, complete blood count, and urinalysis
- Digital radiography (X-ray) and ultrasound imaging
- Cytology, skin scrapes, and reference-lab testing
- Spay and neuter procedures
- Soft-tissue and mass-removal surgery under monitored anaesthesia
- Dental scaling, polishing, and extractions
- Sick-pet consultations and follow-up care
- Prescription refills for pets under our care
- Boarding and day care (where available)
- End-of-life care and euthanasia, provided with compassion
Section 2 — Indicative Fees
Ranges reflect typical cases. The final cost depends on your pet’s size, condition, and the care required, and is always confirmed in a written estimate beforehand.

Section 3 — Opening Hours & Emergencies

- For a life-threatening emergency during opening hours, phone ahead and come straight in — we will prioritise your pet.
- Outside opening hours, our answering message directs you to the nearest 24-hour emergency hospital.
- Signs that need urgent attention include difficulty breathing, collapse, suspected poisoning, bloat, seizures, or trauma.
Section 4 — Appointments & Cancellations
- Routine care is by appointment. Please book ahead so we can allow enough time for your pet.
- Arrive a few minutes early for first visits so we can complete your pet’s record.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the slot to another pet.
- Repeated missed appointments without notice may incur a booking deposit for future visits.
- Prescription refills need up to two working days; request them before you run out.
Section 5 — Payment Terms
- Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept cash, major cards, and contactless payment.
- For planned procedures we provide a written estimate in advance and may ask for a deposit.
- If your pet is insured, we settle with you directly; we are happy to complete claim forms for your reimbursement.
- Please tell us if cost is a concern — we will always discuss the options available for your pet.
