Treatment Menu & Aftercare Guide
This guide explains what we offer, what each treatment costs and how long it takes to work, how to prepare, and how to care for your skin afterwards. It is a reference document — there is nothing to fill in or return. Price bands and timelines are typical figures; the plan and price that apply to you are the ones your provider quotes after assessing your skin.
Section 1 — Treatment Menu
Price bands are per session unless stated otherwise. Complexity, area size and product volume move a price within its band.

Section 2 — Preparing for Your Treatment
- Four weeks before: no sunbeds, no deliberate tanning, and no self-tan on the treatment area. Tanned skin cannot be lasered safely.
- Two weeks before: tell us about any new medication, especially antibiotics, isotretinoin, steroids or anything that makes you sun-sensitive.
- One week before: pause retinoids, glycolic and salicylic acids, and scrubs on the area to be treated.
- One week before injectables: with your prescriber’s agreement, pause fish oil, high-dose vitamin E, ginkgo and other supplements that increase bruising. Never stop a prescribed blood thinner without medical advice.
- Three days before: no waxing, threading, epilation or depilatory cream on the area. Shave instead if hair removal is planned.
- Twenty-four hours before: no alcohol and no strenuous exercise — both raise the chance of bruising and swelling.
- On the day: arrive with clean skin, no make-up on the treatment area, and eat beforehand so you do not feel faint.
- If you get cold sores and are having perioral work, start your antiviral as prescribed before the appointment.
- Do not book a treatment within two weeks of a wedding, holiday, photoshoot or any event where you must look your best.
Section 3 — Aftercare by Treatment
- Stay upright for four hours and do not lie face down or nap.
- Do not rub, massage or apply pressure to the treated muscles for 24 hours.
- No gym, sauna, steam room or hot yoga for 24 hours.
- Gently exercise the treated area for the first hour if your provider asked you to.
- Review at two weeks — that is when the effect is complete and any adjustment is made.
- Cool the area with a clean covered pack for ten minutes at a time in the first evening.
- Sleep on your back with your head slightly raised for two nights.
- No make-up for 12 hours, no facials or massage on the area for two weeks.
- Avoid extreme heat and cold — sauna, steam, sunbeds, skiing — for two weeks.
- Small lumps are common in the first week; keep massaging only if your provider instructed it.
After laser, IPL or laser hair removal
- Expect warmth and redness like mild sunburn for a few hours to a few days.
- Cleanse with lukewarm water and a bland cleanser; use a simple barrier cream only.
- Broad-spectrum SPF 50 every day for at least four weeks, reapplied every two hours outdoors.
- Pigment often darkens and looks like coffee grounds before it flakes away — do not pick it.
- No sauna, swimming pool, chlorinated water or hot showers for 48 hours.
- Between hair removal sessions, shave only — no waxing, plucking or threading.
- Let the skin peel on its own. Pulling flaking skin is the single most common cause of scarring and pigment marks.
- Moisturise generously and often; keep the routine bland until peeling is complete.
- No retinoids, acids, scrubs or exfoliating tools for one week.
- Strict sun avoidance and daily SPF 50 for at least two weeks.
After microneedling, RF microneedling or HIFU
- Keep the skin clean and untouched for 24 hours; wash hands before touching your face.
- No make-up for 24 hours and no active ingredients for five days.
- No exercise, sauna or swimming for 48 hours — sweat on open channels invites infection.
- Tenderness on chewing or pressing after HIFU is normal and settles within one to two weeks.
- Collagen takes time — judge the result at eight to twelve weeks, not at eight days.
- Leave make-up off for the rest of the day where you can.
- Skip actives that evening and resume your usual routine the following day.
- A short purge of small spots can follow extractions; it settles within a few days.
Section 4 — When to Contact Us Immediately
Call the clinic straight away — do not wait for your next appointment or send a message and hope for a reply — if you notice any of the following.
- Skin that turns white, mottled, dusky or blue-grey after an injectable, or pain that is severe and increasing — this can signal a vascular blockage and is a same-hour emergency.
- Any change to your vision, drooping of an eyelid, or double vision.
- Difficulty breathing, swallowing or speaking, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat.
- Fever, chills, or redness and swelling that spread outward from the treated area after the first 48 hours.
- Yellow discharge, crusting that smells, or a wound that opens rather than closes.
- Blistering, burns, or a sharply defined area of skin that stays white or dark.
- A hard, tender or growing lump under filler at any point, including months later.
- A widespread rash, hives or itching all over, rather than only at the treated site.
- Swelling or bruising that is still worsening after 72 hours instead of settling.
If you cannot reach the clinic and your symptoms are severe, go to your nearest emergency department and tell them exactly which treatment and product you had.
Section 5 — Booking & Clinic Policies
- A deposit secures every appointment and is credited against the treatment on the day.
- Reschedule or cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice and the deposit moves with you.
- Inside 48 hours, or if you do not attend, the deposit is retained to cover the reserved clinical time.
- Arriving more than 15 minutes late usually means we shorten or reschedule — we will not rush a clinical procedure.
- Every first treatment requires a consultation, a signed consent and, for prescription treatments, a prescriber assessment.
- A cooling-off period applies between consultation and treatment for prescription-only injectables where the law requires it.
- Botulinum toxin reviews are free at two weeks; a top-up within that review is included where clinically appropriate.
- Filler and energy-device results are assessed at the timelines in Section 1; further product is charged as a new treatment.
- Course packages are valid for 12 months from purchase and are transferable but not refundable once the first session is taken.
- We may decline or postpone a treatment on the day if your skin is tanned, broken, infected or otherwise unsuitable. That is a clinical decision, not a commercial one.
- Under-18s are not treated for cosmetic indications.
