Get started with PocperThis agreement sets out the terms of an interior design engagement between the design studio ("Designer") and the client ("Client"). It becomes effective only when BOTH parties have signed below. The Designer completes the scope and fee details, signs first, then shares this document with the Client for review and countersignature — either in-app, or by printing, signing, and uploading a scanned copy.

The Designer will provide the following services across the term of this engagement:
Phase / service | What is included | Deliverable |
|---|---|---|
Procurement, construction, and contractor works are managed separately unless expressly listed above. Anything not listed is out of scope and handled under Section 5.
I have read and agree to the scope of design services in this section.
Item | Amount | When due |
|---|---|---|
Design fee (total) | ||
Deposit due to begin | ||
Additional design hours (per hour) |
The deposit is required before design work begins and is applied against the total design fee. Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Purchases of furnishings, fixtures, and materials are billed separately and require cleared payment before the Designer places any order.
I have read and agree to the fees and payment terms in this section.
The Client will provide timely access to the space, decisions, and approvals needed to keep the project moving. Each design phase must be approved in writing before the next begins. Selections signed off by the Client are treated as final; changes after sign-off are handled as out-of-scope requests under Section 5. The Designer is not responsible for delays caused by late approvals, third-party contractors, or product lead times outside its control.
I understand my responsibilities and that phase approvals are required to proceed.
A reasonable round of revisions is included within each design phase while the request stays within the agreed scope. New rooms, added services, or changes after a phase has been approved require a separate written estimate approved by the Client before work resumes, and are billed at the additional design-hours rate in Section 3.
I understand how revisions and out-of-scope requests are handled and billed.
Upon full payment, the Client receives the right to use the final design deliverables for the project address named above. The Designer retains ownership of concepts, drawings, and specifications not paid for, and of its general methods and know-how. The Designer may photograph the completed space and reference the project in its portfolio and marketing unless the Client opts out in writing. Each party will keep the other party’s non-public information confidential.
I have read and agree to the ownership, photography, and confidentiality terms in this section.
This engagement runs until the agreed phases are complete. Either party may terminate for material breach that remains uncured 14 days after written notice. On termination, the Client pays for all design work performed and any non-refundable commitments made through the effective termination date, and the Designer hands over completed, paid-for deliverables. Continuing or additional design work after completion may be arranged by written extension.
I have read and agree to the term, termination, and renewal provisions in this section.
I have read and understood each section of this agreement.
I have had the opportunity to ask questions and seek independent advice.
I consent to electronic signatures having the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.
I am authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the party named above.
