Get started with PocperThis agreement sets out the terms under which the court operator ("Provider") reserves recurring basketball court time for the hiring team, league, or organisation ("Hirer") for the season defined below. It becomes effective only when BOTH parties have signed. The Provider drafts and signs first, then shares this document with the Hirer for review and countersignature — either in-app, or by printing, signing, and uploading a scanned copy.

During the season term, the Provider reserves the following recurring court slots exclusively for the Hirer:
Day of week | Court (full / half, number) | Time slot | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
Slots not listed above are not reserved. One-off extra sessions may be booked separately at the standard hourly rate, subject to availability.
Item | Amount | Due / billing cycle |
|---|---|---|
Seasonal hire fee | ||
Refundable damage deposit | ||
Extra hours beyond reserved slots (per hour) | ||
Late payment charge |
Invoices are issued at the start of each billing cycle and are payable within 14 days of receipt. Reserved slots remain payable whether or not they are used, in exchange for the Provider holding the court exclusively for the Hirer. The damage deposit is held for the full season term and returned under Section 7.
I have read and agree to the fees, deposit, and payment terms in this section.
The Hirer is responsible for the conduct of all players, coaches, and spectators it brings into the facility. Non-marking indoor shoes are required on the court at all times. Food, chewing gum, and glass containers are not permitted on the playing surface. Dunking on non-reinforced hoops, hanging on rims, and moving equipment without staff assistance are prohibited. The Hirer must vacate the court promptly at the end of each reserved slot so the next booking can start on time. The Provider may refuse entry to, or remove, any person who endangers others or repeatedly breaches these rules.
I have read the facility rules and will ensure everyone in our group follows them.
The Hirer may cancel or reschedule an individual reserved slot without charge by giving the Provider at least 48 hours' written notice; slots cancelled with less notice remain payable in full. If the Provider must close the facility (maintenance, safety, severe weather, or events beyond its control), affected slots will be rescheduled by mutual agreement or credited against the next invoice — the Provider's liability for a closure is limited to that credit. Either party may terminate this agreement early with 30 days' written notice; the Hirer then pays for all slots reserved up to the effective termination date.
I have read and agree to the cancellation, rescheduling, and closure terms in this section.
Basketball is a physical activity carrying an inherent risk of injury. Participants play at their own risk, and the Hirer confirms that all participants are physically fit to take part. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring every participant (or their guardian, for minors) has completed the Provider's liability waiver before first stepping on court. The Provider maintains public liability insurance for the facility itself but does not insure the Hirer's activities, participants, or belongings; leagues and organisations are expected to carry their own group or event insurance. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
I have read and agree to the liability and insurance terms, and will collect the required waivers.
The Hirer must report any damage to the court, hoops, scoreboards, or other facility property to staff before leaving the session in which it occurred. The reasonable cost of repairing damage caused by the Hirer's group beyond normal wear and tear may be deducted from the damage deposit; if repair costs exceed the deposit, the Provider will invoice the balance with supporting evidence. The remaining deposit is returned within 14 days after the season end date or early termination, together with an itemised statement of any deductions.
I have read and agree to the damage and deposit return terms in this section.
I have read and understood each section of this agreement.
I have had the opportunity to ask questions and seek independent advice.
I consent to electronic signatures having the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.
I am authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the party named above.
